On Wednesday 27 May our Year 2 children and staff travelled to Birmingham Sea Life Centre.  Year 2 have been learning about the sea and all its interesting inhabitants for their flow topic last term.  They have been exploring the question "Why do we like to be beside the seaside?".  Therefore, to fully answer the question we wanted to take the children face to face with the sea creatures.  Owls and Swifts really enjoyed roaming the aquarium, where the sharks were being fed and the ancient sea floated above them.  They were lucky enough to meet some jelly fish, stringrays and touch some creepy, crawly crabs.

"What a fantastic day.  The children were super excited all day and were so keen to learn about the wide range of aquatic animals the venue had to offer".
