Pupils perform at Birmingham Arena

In January we took 49 children to the Birmingham LG Arena to join in the Young Voices 2015 choir concert. Young Voices hold the largest school choirs concerts in the world, and our choir of Year 5 and 6 children joined in with over 5000 other primary school children from across the country to sing a range of songs in harmony.

On the night they were led by the internationally acclaimed conductor, David Lawrence, and were joined by acts such as MiC Lowry and Lucy Spraggan. The children attended practices for several weeks leading up to the concert, led by Miss Macleod and Mr Kemp.

Both adults were very proud to be involved in the project as the children's hard work paid off and they performed brilliantly at the arena.

The Young Voices concert is a very exciting and memorable musical experience to be involved in and it is certainly an experience the children will never forget.
