Violin concert

Parents and carers were invited to a whole school assembly where members of key stage two performed a violin recital.

The students have been mastering the violin during their weekly specialised lessons and played a variety of tunes including ‘Mr Cool’ and ‘Eggs and Bacon’ to the audience.

Year 4 student Lola Sinclair said ‘I felt scared before I started playing but it was really exciting. My parents thought it was amazing.’

Deputy Head Mrs McDonald said ‘It was lovely to listen to the students perform and see the results of all of their hard work. The parents really enjoyed the afternoon and were extremely proud of their children.’
