Well done to our Year 3 and 4 girls who took part in a recent football tournament in Kettering.

Two teams of seven competed in the round robin tournament against other local schools at Kettering Arena. It is the second year that Oakley Vale girls have taken part and this year they came third, with each team member receiving a certificate.

Student Neve Renshaw, who also plays football outside school said: ‘I enjoyed the competition and we scored about ten goals. I find football fun and like playing it with all my friends.’
