As part of  their  topic on 'War & Peace', our Year 6 students  visited the Royal British Legion's National Memorial  Arboretum in Staffordshire.

While exploring they learned about the various monuments, and participated in workshops based on the different roles and responsibilities of a wide range of people beyond the 'Tommy'  in the trench.
