Year 1 at OVPS learn more about wildlife

Year 1 students at Oakley Vale Primary School learned all about snails, toads and hedgehogs during a recent visit by Raptor Xotics.

Dave Sharpe spoke to them about the different characteristics, lifestyles and habitats of the animals as part of this term’s new topic. He is a mine of information on wildlife and often visits the school with a wide variety of animals, including exotic snakes and spiders.

Here’s some pictures of his latest visit when he spoke to Moles class and let them handle the animals.
