Geography Intent

By the end of a child’s journey at Oakley Vale, they will have experienced a broad range of activities, thus acquiring a curiosity and fascination about our ever-changing world and its people. To equip our students to become problem solvers of the future, our teaching provides pupils with knowledge about places and people; resources in the environment; physical and human processes; formation and use of landscapes and the impact of human involvement on the environment. We want children to enjoy and love learning about geography by gaining knowledge about the world and their place in it, as well as encouraging a passion about the future of our planet and the changes we can make.
