For our “Let’s Get Growing” topic in EYFS, Leila Faithfull’s picture shows a group of five evacuees (children who were sent away to safe parts of the UK during WW2) tending an allotment. A pram is standing nearby. The garden looks lush and vibrant and the children are hard at work. Have you noticed what they are growing as well as cabbages?
