In Summer Year 1 study “Materials” as part of their DT curriculum. The Angel of the North is made of a very strong material – steel. Standing overlooking the main roads into Tyneside it is possibly the best known and most easily recognisable public artwork in the UK. However, what does it represent? Is it a man; an angel or something else entirely?
