Our school values, which are embedded into the way of life at Oakley Vale form the backbone of how we teach children to operate as responsible, respectful citizens of their school community, their local community and the wider world.

At Oakley Vale, we not only want our children to succeed academically, but through our planned personal development offer we:

• inspire children to have high aspirations for their futures;
• support children to understand what it means to make a valuable contribution to society and how to do this;
• encourage children to apply for and take on leadership roles and fulfil the responsibilities associated with these.

To accomplish this, we not only provide children with a range of opportunities within the curriculum but also to make a wider contribution to society.  Examples of this include:

• Children perform at Lakelands hospice
