Empowering pupils to be confident, creative, and responsible users of technology in a digital and connected world.

We view Computing as both a standalone subject and an essential thread woven throughout the curriculum. Influenced by the National Curriculum and experts such as STEM and the National Centre for Computing Education, our curriculum equips pupils with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a digital world.

Using the Teach Computing scheme, children develop a deep understanding of computer science principles, including algorithms, logic, and data representation, and gain hands-on experience in programming as well as taking computing off-line and understanding how to stay safe online.

Children learn to analyse and solve problems using technology, evaluate digital tools, and apply them creatively and effectively. We also place a strong emphasis on digital responsibility, ensuring pupils become competent, confident, and ethical users of information and communication technology.
